Hamed Khosravi


A Bit About Me

My name is Hamed, and I am currently a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at West Virginia University. I am honored to work under the supervision of Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed. Also, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology - Industrial Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran. My total GPA was 3.75 out of 4.0.

My academic and professional journey has been centered around my passion for data science. I have gained extensive experience in this field by leading my research on algorithm development, metaheuristics, and data-driven machine learning with a focus on applications in manufacturing, energy, and healthcare. I have also worked as a data analyst intern and completed several data science courses on Coursera. I have attended various workshops and online courses related to Machine Learning to broaden my knowledge and prepare me for further education in this field. Applied Artificial Intelligence, Bayesian Optimization, Generative Adversarial Networks, Health System Engineering, and Data analytics are my main research interests.
